What makes up these abuses and their after-effects?

Minor victims of the criminal abuses perpetrated by leaders of these social clubs can be commonly affected by a variety of conditions, including: suicide, self-harming, the need for counseling, and other dangerous after-effects.

While child sexual abuse occurs nearly everywhere and under various conditions, abuse of minors can be most commonly found in places where adults have easy access to children.

In November of 2021, a Boston Boys & Girls Club® settled a single sexual abuse lawsuit, with the offending pastor is now serving over 100 years for crimes against children.

Also, in September of 2020, a nationwide Boys & Girls Club® investigation found 351 victims in 35 states.

And, in March of 2019, many incidents of abuse were reported at Boys & Girls Clubs® across the United States -- and the litigation for the various abuses are still pending in national courts of law. (Source: AP)
